The reunion was the idea of Bob Brown. His wife, Patti, and class member Bob Kramer joined him to make it happen. They contacted all the class members for which the association had contact info and invited everyone to meet at the Ho-Chunk Casino in Baraboo for the weekend..
The event was completely unstructured. Everyone showed up at the casino sports bar on Friday afternoon and decided the agenda. It was kept simple. We met for breakfast each morning. Friday evening we ate together in the casino's buffet and Saturday we had a nice dinner at the steak and seafood restaurant. On Saturday, Bob took all of those interested on a auto tour of the Baraboo area. The rest of the time was spent catching up with each other--and maybe a little time gaming in the casino. :)
Also attending a number of family members: Patti Brown, Sheryl Eckermann, Nanci Jennings, Bryon and Beth Strunk (Tom's son and daughter-in-law) and Randy Fritz, RMA Class of 1968.
Everyone agreed that it was a great weekend and there was even some talk of the class getting together periodically in those years when there is no All-Class Reunion.
The Class of 1965 included 35 cadets.
Twelve members of the class were unable to attend for various reasons and eight have passed on.
